Notes: When I read the above strip, I was compelled to write frustrated!Fox. His face in the second panel is just so annoyed, and my head hurts a bit from the exchange with Collin he doesn't quite catch. Story of his (latter) life.
Feedback: always welcome, as is constructive criticism.

Moods can seep through even the simplest movements, making the state of mind of the mover incredibly apparent.
In this case, Fox is making an angry baloney sandwich.
He irately pulls the packet of smallgoods out of the fridge, heatedly opens the twist-top on the bread, and crossly gets a knife out of the drawer. The drawer slides back into the bench with a loud bang. The fact that it echoes in the otherwise silence of their apartment makes him a little angrier again.
As he butters the bread, he tries to remember the last time things seemed truly uncomplicated. The knife tears the bread in two places with his vehement strokes. He piles baloney onto the bread in a comically excessive fashion until the little container is empty.
The apartment feels wrong, it's almost like it's not his home. Not for wanting, it just seems alien and out of place. Or maybe it's just him that seems that way. Making and eating the sandwich has become of paramount importance, because if it isn't an all-consuming activity, his mind will wander.
The torn slice of bread is squished onto the whole piece covered in meat. He drops the knife and it misses the cutting board, clattering on the bench top. Fox doesn't bother with a plate; once the sandwich is finished, he takes an incensed bite out of the bread, nearly biting it in half.
He chews his mouthful messily, and looks down to take another bite. The tears in the bread make two eyes, and his large bite mark an unhappy mouth. He blinks slowly, thick eyebrows drawn together.
Fox sighs and loses his appetite.
