Notes: The Santa photographer line is in there because I used to be one. :) One of the reasons these fics were so much fun to write was that I got to invent a whole lot of stuff, using a very basic framework to work from. This backstory of Mik's hadn't been explored in BMB, and I only knew it from talking to Sandra about it. With the basic ideas of what happened, it gave me a lot of flexibility to play with events. If we call C&C canon mik/ty before BMB started, it makes Tybalt missing out on seeing his parents at that juncture quite significant. This is explored in my WIP AU fic, Rewriting History.

Notes: A question was raised long ago as to why Tybalt in his occasionally unscrupulous way stop taking meds so as to comply with the track rules. For one, he would've been caught, and Tybalt getting caught is something he likes to avoid wherever possible. The other reason is that his track stuff has always been a point of personal pride -- a way to be better than everyone else. He'd consider it an affront to his talent to not compete purely under his own steam.

Notes: First in a series of 10 fics about Mikhael and Tybalt's relationship, pre-Harley. I always meant to cover the two years that they dated, including all that nonsense with the Dean, etc. I lost steam and got distracted by other projects along the way, so it currently sits only at 10 fics, all in chronological order (check summary for order), but in the last moment, I have resisted numbering them from 1-10 because I still have a few stray urges to go back and work into this more. It might not happen, but at least I won't mess up my system if I do. A lot of their break-up stuff ended up getting handled in my long one-shot All The King's Horses, and the ramifications are still being dealt with in my epically long (for me) WIP Rewriting History. Yes, even after about 7 years or some ridiculous amount of time, I'm still working on it! I just can't let it go.
