"It doesn't really smell like the ocean," Fox commented as Collin lathered his chest. "The ocean smells like seaweed stuff."

Collin glared, fingers curling around his bar of soap protectively. "This from the man who buys soap with the word 'soap' imprinted on it?"

Fox dug long fingers into his hair, shampooing it thoroughly. "I didn't say it wasn't nice, just that it doesn't smell like 'ocean mist'."

"Well, I like it," the blond answered defensively, rubbing the bar down his arms. He watched it leave behind a trail of pale blue, bubbly lather.

Fox's shampoo-spiked head appeared over Collin's shoulder. The dark-haired main took in a deep breath, and licked a few droplets of water from the expanse of skin in between the blond's shoulder and neck. "I like it, too," he appeased, before stepping back under the spray to rinse his hair.

Turning, Collin continued soaping himself, his own hair already washed and clean. It was up and out of his face like it had been gelled, unmasking his fine features from a wave of yellow locks.

Fox stood directly under the showerhead, letting the water wash white suds out of his hair. His long bangs flattened to dark strips down his face. Wincing as some of the suds crept beneath closed eyelids, he reached out for the towel hanging over the shower curtain bar. It appeared in front of his face far sooner than expected. "Thanks," he said to Collin, stepping out from underneath the spray.

Collin rubbed Fox's arm, part in acknowledgement, part gently shepherding Fox out from underneath the direct spray of the shower. Ocean mist lather slithered down his body.

Peering from behind the towel, Fox pushed the hair messily out of his eyes, watching the rivulets of soap course down Collin's chest. He reached out to capture some of the bubbles in his hand.

Collin's eyes opened, observing Fox lathering the bubbles with delight. Fox waited until he had enough, before blowing into his hand, sending the tiny soap bubbles on a brief airborne journey.

"And you're how old?" Collin asked.

"Old enough," Fox answered, reaching for the conditioner.

Collin let the hot water pelt the back of his neck and shoulders while Fox stood just out of the spray of the shower, massaging the viscous conditioner into his hair. While he let it soak in for a few minutes, Fox completed the other half of his cleanliness regime with his generic soap.

The blond felt a soapy, conditioned hand slip down his spine. He opened his eyes reluctantly and shuffled out of the spray. Fox stepped underneath it, washing the gunk out of his black hair with one hand, the other drifting down Collin's arm. Collin turned slowly, enjoying Fox's meandering touch.

Hair clean, Fox's bangs separated in thin strands around his face, the rest plastered to his head. Collin shivered and stuck his lower lip out slightly. Putting his arms in a monkey-grip with Fox's, he nudged himself back underneath the veil of warm water.

As the sphere of the showerhead's influence was small, he wrapped his arms around Fox's narrow waist and pressed the side of his face against the dark wet chest so they could both enjoy the warmth. After a moment, Fox reciprocated, curling one arm around Collin's shoulders, the hand of the other arm coming to rest at the base of the blond's spine.

"Boss?" Fox asked after a while. Collin didn't answer verbally, just moved his head up. "How long are we gonna stay here?"

"Until the hot water runs out," came the muffled reply, "or until we go all pruney." Fox smiled and pressed a kiss to Collin's damp hair.

They stood under the gentle spray -- one smelling like ocean mist, the other like soap -- until the hot water ran out.
